I guess I'll make another spot-start since there's no thread and less then 2 hrs till game time...

The Cubs own spot starter:

(3-4, 4.03)

(4-15, 5.24)

Harang's been better lately, but he's still giving up tons of HRs

Let's get back to winning series' before another off-day tomorrow

Go Cubs!!

i want the game thread pimp back

:bye:

I know, I was waiting... if he shows before first pitch, mods can feel free to implode this thread and let him put one up.

He won't be here in time today to make it. Laura did say that he will be ready to do it tomorrow with a win or a loss today. We'll just have to win it without him for a day.

The Cubs pretty much own Harang...

Lee, Ramirez, and Edmonds have a combined 11 HRs and 28 RBI against him

???

P.S. Go Cubs!

Just a correction, while Harang is ugly, he's not the ugliest pitcher in baseball.

That would be Wandy Rodriguez.

You mean Ezequiel Astacio.

Not that its a tough choice, but the Chicago area is showing Jets/Dolphins and Lions/Falcons for its noon games, it makes my choice to watch baseball that much easier.

Besides, baseball >>>>> football. I'd take baseball anyday of the week and twice on Sundays.

Agreed and not even close! I don't live and die by football or the Bears. It's just a fodder until baseball starts again.

Sorry guys and gals. The plan was to go to the Arkansas / ULM game and leave around half time because the Hogs SHOULD be beating the crap out of the.

ULM had other ideas and the game went down to the wire with tons of passes --- aka: LONG game. Getting out of the stadium then making the 2 hour drive home put me home at 1:00 AM.

Exactly. I love the Bears...I really do, but its not even in the same class as baseball and the Cubs.

I've said it before, I'll say it again:
