  1. It's time to ruin this guy: http://www4.pictures.zimbio.com/gi/2013+American+Music+Awards+Arrivals+15EE8Gpns6Nl.jpg Make sure to strike out this guy: Kill em CUBS!!!
  2. Has there been a time since 1907 where the Cubs abandoned the pinstripes? I would hate losing pinstripes because it's something the Cubs pioneered, and certainly not a bad tradition to keep around. Plus I like the way pinstripes look.
  3. And suddenly, there's no doubt who I want to be the next manager. Sergio Romo? More like John Smith of the Federal Witness Protection Program.
  4. I really like how the Cubs are just taking whoever they want from other teams. Can't we just jack someone else for a good manager next?
  5. It seems too many people don't want to believe that there are many billionaires where owning a sports team is nothing more to them than a status symbol, and something to brag about with friends at cocktail parties.
  6. well it's still too early to rape and rob "when the sun goes down." as made famous by Cypress Hill
  7. Great. How much money are taxpayers gonna have to front to fix NOLA this time?
  8. that NFL.com commercial kicked ass
  9. Miley Cyrus = Party in the USA 3 or 4 times. It'll be a hoot.
  10. Very nice drive by the Colts
  11. Brett Favre made me giggle.
  12. Freeney definitely should not celibrate there
  13. Does Doritos really need 40 commercials?
  14. I definitely think that NO has a much better shot at winning than the Bears did. At least NO has a functioning (actually, elite) offense. IMHO, it's the adjustments that Manning and Co. do at halftime that breaks the back of an opponent. They just seem to outright destroy a team in the second half, but not necessarily in points. That Defense of theirs, while not the best in the league, is better than NO, and they always seem to make the right adjustments at halftime. All those 4th Q come back wins this year aren't luck induced.
  15. The Colts didn't destroy the Bears in points, but after the 1Q the game was firmly in the Colts control the rest of the way. Grossman got worse as the game went on and Indy's D was far and away better than the Bears. I think some Bears fans definitely watched a different SB than the rest of the world. I don't even remember the Colts being picked to win that SB by the end of the two-week lead up to the game. It seemed to me that a majority of 'experts and analysts' had convinced themselves that dome-team Indy couldn't beat the all-weather Bears outside in a torrential rainstorm. Indy also faced a hostile crowd at the damn game. I think that's the only time I've ever seen a SB team get booed taking the field on neutral ground. I'm sure the media will have the Saints winning this in a blowout by the end of next week. I'm just waiting to see the reasons this time. They can't use the Dome-team excuse. Maybe it'll be the humidity.
