Cubs to have post-season ticket lottery

When the initial on-sale occurred last Tuesday, I told everyone how I bought a password off of ebay and bought two tickets. A bunch of people were curious if this would work or if the Cubs would cancel my tickets.

 

As I suspected, the tickets just arrived via Fed-ex this morning. So any password should work for the NLCS sale.

Thanks for the info. Not that I expect to be selected for the NLCS, but it's good to know.

 

But you can buy a PW and be assured the tickets will come

 

Assuming you trust the seller.

Well that is one thing. That said, you will know right away if the PW works or not.

That seller on ebay I mentioned earlier that had singles for $129 appears to have dropped the price to $99.

 

 

This seller just listed these tickets ten minutes or so.

 

You know what that means? He bought these singles this morning. He beat everyone to the punch this morning.

So what time are we expecting NLCS lottery results? Late tonight the same as last round?

NLCS lottery results aren't until Thursday, with the on-sale occuring Friday.

Drawing ended today. Results will be announced on Thursday.

The Cubs website says winners won't be notified until Thursday.

Apparently the stock market took down NSBB along with it.

 

But for those wondering, no changes on the ticket pages.

I know I'm going to keep checking now, as if to prove to myself that I should have been patient. :banghead:

I bought the last single I could find.

 

I know I probably paid too much. I just couldn't be patient.

 

The biggest kicker is when you get the ticket e-mailed to you, it shows how much that person paid for it. In my case, $30. That's not a bad profit.

Off topic: Anyone think the White Sox playoff game has any resale value? Tickets will be going on sale in a few and I was thinking about picking up a pair. Not sure if I'd sell them or go.
