Game 5 was going back and forth for a little bit, but I couldn't get anything. It's back to just saying sold out now.

Back and forth at least gives you the impression that something is working, but on the bright side, mid-afternoon two days in a row people have been able to pull tickets, theres always tomorrow!

Would the Cubs ticket office release tickets on the weekend? Are they even open when the game isnt until mid week next week

I don't know what the pattern is. I've seen regular season tickets released on a Saturday night before, so who knows.

There's activity for game 1 that started about 15 minutes ago. You can select up to 2 seats, but I can't even get 1 to reserve right now.

It's worth a shot, though.

I think they are preparing to release some....keep us up to date.

That must be it, and hopefully, but I've never seen it happen like this before.

I had a firefox add-on that alerted me when the game 1 page changed. There are 4 options right now and you can select up to 2, but after refreshing every second for the last 25 minute (seriously), I can't get anything to reserve.

Same here.

Leave it alone, Jon. :blackeye:

Maybe they'll release them at 10:00 am?

Did you have a period of time where you could keep refreshing or resubmitting the request and it wouldn't ask for a new verification code?

Yes.

I just keep hitting "continue."

That was strange.

Hopefully you're right about 10 AM. For the regular season, though, I don't recall any pattern as to when they release more seats in terms of time of day.

I got two for game 5 already. Think I'll have any trouble getting the ones for game 1 should I be lucky enough to pull them?

I doubt it. I'd be pretty surprised if they enforce a limit for tickets purchased after the day they're released.

Now don't be greedy, Milton.

I'll be pretty pissed if I do get through and they offer me a ticket, only to have it be one of those $300 tickets right behind the screen.

This is frustrating. Something has to be going on.

If nothing happens at 10, I'm going to be a little upset.

I'm pretty sure I need to get a job with Tickets.com so that I could alert the board each time another Game One single becomes available.

Better yet, World Series passwords for everyone!

I will provide a glowing reference for you.

Its not greed. I have every intention of going to the games.

If you get those $300 tickets, I'll buy them from you :)

If tickets do come up, I am giving everyone a 5 minute window because I already have a ticket, but after that I am buying 1 or 2 for my friends.

I am not planning on pulling a Mizzou, no matter how tempting.

Yeah, you could buy expensive ones, sell them, and just buy cheaper ones on the secondary market.

That's damn fine of you.

Now it says "high transaction volumes."

Not for me. Just no tickets available.

It said that just once, then back to the normal message.
