This sucks.

I was supposed to have a deposition in Chicago on Thursday. That was my "cover" to go up early tomorrow and go to the game.

But it's been cancelled. And I can't take the day off work now.

So, I have a ticket that I paid $99 for yesterday on ebay. It's in Section 512, Row 4. There was no shipping or anything. I'm not going to b.s. you. It's a $30 face ticket. But of course I'd like to get back what I paid.

Any takers? It's an e-ticket. If so, I can do a payment through Paypal and e-mail you the ticket immediately.

Howry.

I want to jump all over that so bad but I've been to so many damn games that I think I'll just watch it with a bunch of buddies at a friend's apartment.

But I am damn tempted... damn.

I got up there for one this year. And I so badly wanted to go tomorrow. I'm seriously bumming right now.

Nothing happened this morning. All 3 games still say sold out.

By the way, if anyone wants to automatically check for updates to those pages, I found an easier way:

-Install Check4Change Firefox add-on and restart

-Go to http://javascript.about.com/library/blright.htm, right-click on "enable right click," and bookmark it

-Open up one or more of the games

-Go to bookmarks and select "enable right click"

-Highlight some or all of the red sold out text

-Right-click on the text, select Check4Change, and quickly set it up

You can use the following links for the 3 games:

http://frontline.purchasenow3.tickets.com/buy/MLBEventInfo?pid=6336215&roomid=5

http://frontline.purchasenow3.tickets.com/buy/MLBEventInfo?pid=6336227&roomid=5

http://purchase.tickets.com/buy/MLBEventInfo?pid=6347813

The third URL is different but works just the same. You could also take the ID # and plug it into the URL format above. Doesn't matter.

do you have better luck with "best available" or by picking one of the options? I keep getting 2 options for game 1 and a bunch of options for game 2, but can't get any to reserve.

you're killing me jon

my younger brother got a pair for game 1, then proceeded to lose them because he couldn't remember his password and mlb.com gave him a technical difficulties message when he tried to create a new account.

ARGH!!! I keep hearing about tickets sporadically on sale at cubs.com ticketing, and everytime I go there - nada.

I haven't been teased this much since high school, when a few cheerleaders would choose to wear the tightest shortest shorts possible within sight of our football drills.

Edit: screw it, I'm going to gougers.com - I mean stubhub.com - can't take it anymore.

I can't believe he got a pair to game 1 (after a bunch of you already posted, by the way) and freaking lost them.

JOn where were your seats at if you don't mind me asking?

222 in the back. Both singles that I got are, actually. And the pair that my brother lost were a section or two over.

were you choosing 1 and best available? I was able to type the captcha a couple times but then threw right back into the other screen saying no tickets
