In regards to refunds...

 

When the series vs. Houston got moved to Milw., StubHub refunded me the full amt of the tickets INCLUDING S&H fees. (without having to return the tickets)

FYI guys, assuming 50/50 odds of winning each game, the series has a 60% chance of going to game 5. Pretty good odds.

I plan on going, but I also plan on taking of work to watch games 1 and 2 if there are in fact day games. I haven't cleared this with my boss though, so if I can't go I'll sell them to my family or someone for what I paid.

I lost the Rays NLDS lottery despite there probably being a 99.8% success rate of winning that one.

Damn, now I have to cheer for the Mets to win the East so we can play them in the NLCS.

I just bought a ticket to game 1 off cubs.com!! I have been checking all day, and finally got one to pop up. I think its the only one because I keep looking and don't see any more popping up. My advice is to keep checking all day and hopefully one gets released.

 

The ticket is in 223 Row 14. Not the best (i hate the overhang, but I'll take it!

Congrats man, I've actually been checking all day as well. I wish there was some science to when they release a ticket or two, but there really isn't. They just happen to pop up at random times.

I think he's referring to the screen when you can select the quantity and type of seat, but not actually get one reserved. I've never seen them stay on a screen where you can select the type of seat as long as they did yesterday, but 20 minutes ago, it was going back and forth between that screen and "sold out" when I was refreshing. That gave me some hope.

Yeah, right now the second game is the sold out screen every time and the first game lets you select the quantity and type of seat every time.

 

Probably some programmer out there from mlb.com is doing it and watching us all scurry and complain.

Back and forth at least gives you the impression that something is working, but on the bright side, mid-afternoon two days in a row people have been able to pull tickets, theres always tomorrow!

Would the Cubs ticket office release tickets on the weekend? Are they even open when the game isnt until mid week next week
