I noticed today that StubHub has our potential home World Series games all scheduled for 1pm. I know that the Cubs can't play home night games, but I thought that was only for the regular season. I can't imagine there would seriously be day games in the World Series.

The Cubs don't play home night games?

He may mean home weekend night games.

Thank you, that is what I meant.

Gotcha, no there will be no afternoon postseason games for the Cubs. The Cubs are going to be the biggest draw in the playoffs and will get the primetime slot for each of their games. The neighborhood agreement doesn't apply to playoff games.

EDIT: It's possible the Cubs get an afternoon weekend game or 2 for the NLDS.

Can anyone help me with store names/sites that are located across from wrigley? I dont want wrigleyville sports but I am looking for the sports store that is across from the Welcome To Wrigley Field Sign........It has tons of everything and was looking for some photos to purchase and I know they have them but cant make it back up there to get it.

Any idea on the store I am talking about?

Thank you very much! I called the 888 number on their site and it ended up being a weird emergency number. I have no idea what that was about.

Trying to find a number for them now but no luck.

Thanks again! Awesome store.

Well that's just idiotic.

I know...I'm debating on whether I should take a weekend in the middle of next week or just take 2 half days. But if its a half day I'd be leaving at 12, and wouldn't get to Wrigleyville on time.

You've got to be freaking kidding me.

It looks like the AL is getting the higher priority in the scheduling. Its probably because the ALCS is on TBS so TBS wants to give the AL teams better exposure to increase their ratings for the ALCS.

What's with the 1.5 hour ranges? I find it hard to believe they will commit in advance to not showing the Cubs in prime time. Oh well, day baseball is fun.

I think it has to do with whether or not the home AL team playing later that night is on the West Coast or not.

um, that is ridiculous

it makes absolutely no sense to have the Cubs not on prime time

I should also point out that it says times are subject to change, so its more a tentative schedule that TBS is putting up there.

But I think my ALCS explanation makes a bit of sense as to why TBS is giving the AL much better placement in the first round.

It makes some sense. You've got west coast teams involved, which means they should be a little later. Cubs fans are more than used to handling day baseball, and, people are going to tune in to Cubs games no matter when they air, and that may help keep an audience for later games.

Even still, Chicago/NY not being featured in prime time seems really odd to me.

I approve of this scheduling

Must be nice.

yeah, sitting home and not making any money is totally worth getting to see first round playoff baseball. :banghead:
