Cotts has been pretty bad lately too. There's no way he's gonna recover from a horrid error like Soriano's.

way to go, neal

Really going to put it on Neal?

How the hell do you miss a simple pop up? Lou should have pulled him. A play like that shows that Soriano's head is too far up his butt for him to care about what's going on on the field.

Yank him, embarrass him, and see if it gets his attention.

He didnt dog it on the play, he misplayed a ball.

Did he give it max effort? Exactly. There is NO excuse for that to happen multiple times in a season. NONE. He should have been pulled if Lou had any balls.

And of course Lou will call out players in the postgame, even though this loss is all his fault

It'll be Zambrano and Soriano's fault too... and probably some other players I'm not remembering

In fact, it's mostly Zambrano's fault for sucking against a terrible team

Yep. Every player should be yanked after he makes an error. We're much better off with Reed Johnson taking Soriano's ABs the rest of the way. Definitely.

Not putting it on him, but it's not like he pitched well or anything.

I'm glad he's using his brain and not his balls to make this decision.

I'd rather keep his bat in the lineup in a one run game than pretend to teach him some kind of lesson.

It's pathetic that our staff "Ace" can't even get past 5 innings against the Pirates. just brutal....

He missed a catch. That's not dogging it.

And Soriano shouldn't be pulled because that would be a stupid thing to do.

NEIL! ;)

And yes, I'd yank him. He's either half assing it or hot dogging it would be nice if he'd quit doing it. I'd hate for it to happen in an important game.

Well when he non-chalants a popup and drops it again later this season don't complain.

Lou never should have taken Samardzija out

I don't know how long it'll take him to realize that Neal Cotts sucks

I pray to God it isn't as long as it took him to realize Howry sucks.
