"The Cubs win round one"

bitter much?

Go Z tomorrow, crush Sheets!

It just seems like Z and Sheets face each other every time we play the Brewers.

Actually I think Marquis faced him last time when Sheets came off the DL. The Cubs hit well but Marquis was Jason Marquis. Anyway beat these guys tomorrow.

Another thing to tick off the Cheeseheads...Valdosta GA is not Titletown USA. ESPN is so stupid.

ESPN got pissed because how dare someone bestow an unoffical title upon a town without first consulting them?

And Green Bay is now and will forever be Titletown. Get over it, ESPN.

That was an unusually enjoyable game.

You bet. That was one seriously entertaining baseball game.

If my favorite team weren't playing it would have been a nice relaxing fun game to watch.

No, they're amazing. Nobody would have believed last year that they could top "Who's Now?" for stupidity. But somehow they came through.

My instinct when the ball was hit was "he reached for it, fly out", then the stupid zoomed out camera angle and the overexcited brewers announcers thinking "he hammered it" freaked me out for a minute.

Cubs win, good Marmol is back, huzzah

Wow.

I'm so looking forward to Thursday and seeing Harden pitch live.

Games like this are the reason that baseball is the greatest sport in the world.

I've figured Marmol out. His bad stretch was a protest against gas prices. As long as they kept going up, he was going to keep his ERA equal to gas prices. Now that they're starting to go back down, he's bringing his ERA back down. A tip of the cap to you, Marmol.

This is a huge win. Easily the worst matchup of the series.

Every time I watched that last year I had the feeling I was watching a family guy episode where they were making fun of something stupid SportsCenter would do.

Yeah Seriously. If that ball goes 12 feet harder at the end of the game, I would have thrown my phone.

If he keeps spotting that fastball, lookout...he's back in a big way.

WTG, Nasty!Marmol!!

CUBS WIN!!! CUBS WIN!!!

------------------------------------

CHC 62-44 ---

MIL 60-46 2.0

Can't say enough about how huge winning this game could mean... could have turned a 1-3 or 2-2 series into a 3-1/4-0 series in our favor.

Still have to get through Sheets, but historically, the Cubs have done him some damage. And really (besides the fact that Harden has nothing to show his outings [no Ws]), we have our 3 best SPs coming up after tonight; Z, Demps, Harden.

Shouldn't put the cart before the horse, but of all the pitching matchups, tonight's game was the worst one (as far as MIL #1B vs CHC #4), and saved for that damned 6th, Lilly was outstanding tonight.

MLB tv was almost insufferable between some fuzzy feed and easily the worst announcers I have ever heard.

I bet it's all worth it for a Cubs win though.

Yep. Worst picture I've had all year.

Always is. So much excellent baseball by the team tonight, minus some very dumb coaching mistakes.

Loved the patience tonight.

As awesome as that is, you need to slow it down and try including the 20 step handshake DeRo and Cedeno were doing in the background.
