It appears as if the Padres have found a willing trade partner -- albeit an unlikely one -- for left-handed pitcher Randy Wolf.

 

According to a baseball source, the Padres will trade Wolf to the Astros on Tuesday for a Minor League pitcher.

As I understand it, Drayton McLane needs to conduct some impact testing of the concrete columns out in left field.

The Astros have to rely on the 3 best teams in the NL to all collapse and collapse hard, and they themselves have to go on a nice little run. I think its pretty safe to say they're done.
