I hope sweet lou doesn't have to flip out to fire this team up or something but it couldn't hurt could it? I mean this past week with the team we have, has not played baseball. I realize we're missing Soriano and Zambrano and Reed Johnson who believe it or not is our Best hitter I believe with RISP but still we shouldn't drop off as much as it looks like we have. I realize its only a week and teams go through slumps but it has been a really ugly week of baseball.

We lost Soriano at the worst possible time. Losing him for interleague play really killed us. Plus we had 3 series in AL parks this year, and only 2 at home. Too many lineups that had Fontenot/Cedeno/Blanco/Murton in it every day.

And after all this...we gained a game on the Cardinals.

We are a foot on a liner and one less injured CF from a two run lead in this game. It has just been a tough ball game. Not a lot of breaks. They have two homers that were fly balls typically. It happens.

Once again the White Sox reflect just how one dimensional their offense is 5 of 6 runs via the long ball.

All you need is one dimension that works day in and day out.

How many were solo shots?

Dye had a 2 run shot.

Aneroxi and CQ had solo shots.

He's not going to flip out when we still have the best record in the NL by at least 3.5 games and are literally decimated by injuries right now. It's just a bad stretch which is excusable considering what is happening with the team.

Yeah, I said that before the game when Fred said the wind was blowing out by about 20 mph. It definitely helps their all-or-nothing offense more than it does for us.
