lol, the Sox continue to make themselves look classy. In just the last few days..

-John Danks calls Wrigley smelly and actually wears nose plugs during pregame to prove his point

-Ozzie says Wrigley is a hellhole and has huge rats running around

-Ozzie calls out Jim Edmonds after he hits 2 HRs to say that he got lucky and is not a good player anymore

-AJ calls Cubs fans idiots

Cubs responses:

I honestly find this more disturbing than AJ's name calling.

After the disaster Saturday, the roughed-up pitcher from the first game, Octavio Dotel, had his bare foot -- which was propped up on the little picnic table where the players eat -- covered with a tortilla, lettuce, sauce and tomatoes by other Sox pitchers.

An apparent exorcism of unknown origin or reason.

''Who wants to swallow my foot?'' Dotel asked matter-of-factly, Bud Light in hand. ''Fifty dollars? Free taco salad. Anybody?

I love that the Cubs players have taken the high road in all this. The White Sox just need to shut the hell up and just play baseball. This is getting ridiculous. They're acting like the Cubs' little brother or something. Can't actually beat the Cubs, so they whine and complain all they can.

I think Ozzie is definitely instigating alot of this in the clubhouse.

Is there any doubt? What a classless piece of trash. Whenever I'm away from the TV and I start hearing beeping sounds, it's a sure bet they're doing an Ozzie interview.

And Kenny Williams and Ozzie Guillen wonder why people in Chicago will not accept the White Sox as the cities' team. Earth to heckle and jeckle, snide remarks will not win you points in a popular contest.

What the White Sox are doing is proving the point that the Cubs don't need to "insult" the other team, just beat 'em down on the field, and prove their are the superior team. I'm liking how the Cubs are handing this, there letting the White Sox come off as bitter, jaded, uneducated, and simply jealous. They have a world series championship, and yet they still feel the need to show their inferiority complex.

I will say it now, if the White Sox ever want to be "the team" in the city, they need to move. I hear Sacremento needs a team. The White Sox will never be considered the "it team" in Chicago, and that is a hard concept to grasp for those pinheads.

And once the Cubs sweep the White Sox, they will have more mud on their faces.

Consider the gauntlet dropped. The noise ratcheted way up.

Not only is your dog smarter than AJ, but it probably is a lot better looking. That is one ugly dude.

You're right, he is better looking than A.J. And here is a picture to prove it.

Which is what made it even more hilarious when a sox fan next to me was talking about how HOTT AJ was the other day. The sad part is she was actually pretty attractive.

This was in the game thread, but supposedly Farmer and Stone were saying how suspicious the maturation process of G. Soto has been from medicore minor league hitter to premiere offensive hitting catcher. With Stone's connections to the Cubs, this is as close to a declaration of guilt as you'll get without a positive test.

Yeah, I was listening in for that. Stoney went off on a nice little discussion of how Soto had never hit more than 5 home runs in his career over 6 years or so and suddenly already has 12 this year and has turned in to one of their most dangerous hitters.

PEDs...no doubt.

If Cubs fans were some how miraculously on this board, they'd point to TCQ.

I would come in his defense and show them his amazing minor league and college numbers.

It's hilarious how much time & effort Sox fans put into obsessing over the Cubs. They care more about the Cubs than they do about their own team.
