He's just giving up crap singles that are leaking through. You guys are so dramatic.

 

Does it really matter? The only stats that truly matter are runs scored, in which the Rays have all they need to win tonight.

 

Personally, I think the Cubs shouldn't even come out to bat against Sonnastine again. They should just forfeit.

He's giving up repeated opposite field singles that aren't "leaking" through.

 

oh god i know, people are just crushing those opposite field singles. I'm surprised a couple of those 130 foot bloops havent gone over the fence.

 

He was pitching for contact and trying to a get a double play ball basically the entire inning and you guys are acting like it's just blast after blast after blast. It's embarrassing.

Is anyone impressed with the way Sonnanstine has been throwing? Junk balls with no velocity? I don't think we'll win but I think our hitters should be able to do some damage

No one's impressed with the way he's throwing. Our hitters should be able to do some damage, but if we have to rely on Lieber for like 3 innings, I don't like our chances anyway.

those are all things that were said while the Rays got lucky and strung a bunch of crap singles together. It's sad that people like to rationally discuss baseball before and after a game but during it they revert to acting like morons.

Most of my frustration is about how typical Z melts down whenever his defense lets him down
