SSR has anger issues when Illini games are on.

The word filter saves my banning.

I'm flashing back to one of my college roommates who was an IU fan (attending Purdue, I don't know why). He would scream and yell and cuss... and do things like throw shoes at the TV. Really quite exciting.

I remember when I was a freshman in high school I shattered our remote as Iowa blew a game. If I watched the Northwestern St. game in my apartment I would have been evicted.

man that was a pathetic effort by penn state, cornley played great and nobody else showed up.

i also blame the refs, bad luck, penn state's coaching staff and michigan for playing out of their minds.

Indiana and Purdue are nearly completely different schools academically. You don't see why someone who was a fan of one might attend the other purely for academic purposes?

I just saw the score. I honestly can't believe Michigan won.

A lot of people from my high school went to IU. They were all either medical or law majors.

Well, they do have a lot of overlapping subject areas too, he was Computer Tech something or other, not Engineering

Michigan figured out that if you completely lock down the arc, PSU only has one scoring option left.

I know I'm late, but...

How are you gonna lose to Wisconsin? Come on...

1. Miss nearly every jump shot you take, whether you're covered or wide open.

2. Leave UW's most one dimensional guy alone outside the 3 point line to do the one thing he's good at all night.

3. Rebound like you have concrete in your shoes and the other team is just going to let you have the ball.

and finally,

4. Take nothing but 15-20 foot jumpers when you're not hitting them. Don't spread the floor and get it inside, just continue jacking up shots you obviously (at least last night) have no shot at making.

And whoever asked about Legion, it's pretty clear he's gone Rich Hill on us and completely forgotten how to put the ball on the inside of the orange metal round thing that's hanging there. I'm reasonably sure it's entirely a confidence issue. The one shot he did make last night was a rhythm jumper where he just came around a pick on the dribble and shot it without having time to think about it. Everything else he had time to look at and missed or it was generally just an awful shot he shouldn't have been taking in the first place.

Apparently they took a page out of their opponents playbook, except instead of one scoring option left, Michigan has no scoring options left.

I wonder if we're not going to see what Legion' capable of until next season.

I think BTT at the earliest. He could have a random good game mixed in(We wouldn't have beat Purdue without him), but as far as consistency, I think it'll be a bit.

Clearly the country's best conference from top to bottom, the Big East could send as many as nine teams to the NCAA tournament.

ENOUGH ALREADY. The bottom of the Big East is awful. They are going to have a lower percentage of teams make the tourney than the Big Ten, and possibly the ACC or Pac 10.

They're still a good conference, but this talk about how deep they are, when half their teams might not make the tournament, with 1/4 of them not even belonging in major conference ball is annoying as hell.

Notre Dame not even mentioned in Bubble Watch. Ouch.

You really have an easy stretch coming up don't you...I wouldn't be surprised if there like 16-9 they'll be back in it

I always defer to Jay Bilas (as anyone in college hoops should do because he's awesome), who says that there's an argument to be made for which conference is the best overall, just not 1-12.

@UCLA tomorrow, vs Louisville next Thursday, and two weeks from tomorrow, @UConn. It ain't happening.

ha wow...wait when do you guys play the easy stretch of the Big East? Seton Hall or Providence? I feel like every other day you play one of the top 6 teams.

i'd say the acc is the best/deepest conference.

they have providence coming up. they already beat seton hall and lost to st. john's. they play uconn and louisville twice, both excellent teams, but get st. john's twice, and they're bad. so i'd say that notre dame has a little harder than average big east schedule and they've had a lot of their hard games bunched up in the middle.

they have a pretty tough schedule but they have a mediocre record because they just aren't that good.
