I wish there was a site that reliably measured all out-on-basepaths for players. Theriot has to lead the league.

Probably. But that one wasn't really his fault. Not much he could do there.

Yeah there was. He could have, ya know, not ran to third.

Lee holding at third with two outs? Unless the catcher already has the ball, I hate that.

Are you serious? The ball was almost to the infield as Lee hit 3rd. He would have been caught in a rundown.

I'm just listening on the radio. Hughes thought Lee was going to go, then acted surprised he thought.

Bases loaded. Hooray!

He rounded it pretty hard and since it was Eckstein throwing I thought he might try it.

How was he to anticipate a great play by the pitcher. The ball was to his left and he did what he was supposed to do when a ball is hit to your left - run. It just so happened that Burnett made a great play.

Man that's about as bad as you can be without giving up a run. 4 base runners, 3 walks, 32 pitches, 0 runs.

32 pitches is a victory though. Get him out of here early.

3 baserunners really. Lee basically replaced Theriot. An out would have been recorded either way.
