Wood borrowed Marmol's out pitch.

I'm pretty sure Wood had it long before Marmol.

The little wrinkle slider that buckles knees and ends up right down the middle? Nah. He had the fastball blown by the batter, the overhand curve that drops into the zone, and the huge-breaking slider that ends up way out of the zone.

Thanks for the updates, guys (your reactions are enough to know Woody got out of it). Gamecast chooses inopportune times to die on me. :x

It was a backdoor slider with a 3-2 count that was taken for strike 3.

Manny Acosta is terrible, and he starts off the inning with a walk.

That's a for sure run as long as Lou doesn't hit and run or something stupid

I'd imagine that Cedeno would have been used to PR for Ramirez if Lou kept Hoffpauir in there to PH.

What I was gonna say.

Anyone remember some of the pitches THESE braves swung at in that 2003 NLDS? Sick and nasty is right.

Then it's definitely not a for sure run.
