Nuh uh! Babe Ruth never played against black pitchers or never faced a forkball and would pee himself if stepping up to the plate against the flamethrowers of today because nobody threw faster than 80 mph back in those days and he'd be a AAAA player at best in todays game!!

 

All athletics have improved over time. The top talents from back then could probably get up to speed with some time and training, but if we just plunked guys from then and placed them into a ballgame today, they'd be worse than in their own era. And average players from today would be way better back then.
