The Central is going to end the day 25 games over .500. That's quite a bit for a division that many thought would be among the worst in the majors.

To compare among the other NL divisions, right now the East is 9 games over .500 and the West is an absurd 33 games under .500.

And the division everyone thought would be the best in the majors (AL Central) is 18 games under.

The weather is unbelievably crappy down here right now. I hope they get thru the 5th and then the skies open up.

Gameday says there's an "on-field delay." What's going on?

Albert Pujols went physco and knocked out all the Pirates infielders.

Ben Sheets threw 122 pitches in today's game. Another job well done, Ned.

The fans actually booed him when he took him out with 2 outs in the 9th.

Anyone else fearing the Brewers again?

I'm much more worried that the Astros will continue to win by bludgeoning opponents into submission and that the Cardinals will continue to redefine "overachieving," unfortunately.

Nobody really counted on the bottom dropping out of the NL West and the AL Central.

Royals finally won. Went to the K today, and it was mildly interesting. Talked to a Cub fan, who I don't know him, and I referred him to this website. So hopefully he'll sign up.

In all, it was a beautiful day at the K.

I almost went, but it was a house party for a co-worker today so I didn't. Good to see they won though.

Manny just hit #500.

Who here doesn't care about Manny's 500, like ... AT ALL?

*raises hand*

(Note, this is not an insult of your post, just a backlash at the Red Sox crap ESPN shoves down our throats)
