Wow, Geovany Soto with the inside the park home run. Is there anything this man can't do?

Mother babies.

Although I wouldn't put that one past Soto either. And Edmonds is hurt. Heh.

That was an OUT OF THE PARK HR, but I'll take it.

It hit above the line.

Who cares? It counts the same.

These stupid new ballparks with all their weird, quirky angles.

Didn't that ball hit about where Alou's hit that one time? He hit it, it hit the wall, bounced straight up after hitting something on the wall and over the line. Physics be damned.

I don't care, really. Thanks to Geo's hustle, it doesn't matter. \:D/

Floodgates are opening!

I love how Michael Bourne chased that ball and JUMPED even though the ball was 20 ft. above his head.

he should get 1 grit point for that.

did Edmonds pull something on that play??

must........bite......tounge........

But yeah, I really think he pulled a hammy or something. He's not running right.

Now it looks like the trainer is out at 2nd with him.

Steve Phillips: "it looked like he was gingerly running around first base"

Steve, that's just how he walks/runs. It's normal.

Can someone give a nice description of what just happened??????????

Geo hit a long drive to left center that bounced high off the wall. The yellow homer line runs vertically on that portion of the wall. It looked like Geo's shot hit just to the right of the line and should have been called a regular homerun. The umpires said it hit the line and was in play. The ball took a crazy bounce off the wall and went back over the CF's head and way out into the center field grass. Geo scored on an inside the park homer.
