I can tell right now this is going to be a frustrating night against a terrible pitcher.

 

Because we have a low BABIP?

 

Come on, the only hard hit ball was Fukudome's and maybe Aramis'.

 

It still evens out. Must you always proclaim doom when we go two innings without scoring? :)

We are Cub's fans. We are conditioned for failure.

Just go into every game thinking you are going to lose. That's what I have done and 17 times I was right and the other 27 I was wrong and happy.

This is what I do. And I will forever be convinced that I'll never see the Cubs in the World Series until it actually happens.

I can't believe Sori didn't swing at the 2-2.

 

He's showing more discipline, but he just may not be a better hitter when he is as patient as he just was.

Yeah, today's going to be one of those "Offense gets completely dominated by a crappy journeyman pitcher" games, circa 2007.

 

Circa 2007, or 2004 or 2003.

 

The difference is that now we're taking pitches. His pc is 44 right now, decent yes, but in past years it would have been 29 or something.
