As long as their not in the field it works fine. My grandpa comes in to watch most games. If not, he'll just listen to WGN. As long as your not in the field, it is entirely possible to schedule your work day around the Cubs. You are your own boss afterall. However, it may mean working until dark after the game.

Yep, I think this loss falls squarely on Lou's shoulders. The parallels between him and the Dusty situation are starting to become eerie. Filling out awful lineup cards, playing worse players over better players.

Depending on what you mean by right now:

 

Pie in May .333/.385/.417

Fontenot in May .417/.588/.750

Theriot in May .333/.400/.370

 

Fukudome has been mediocre

Ramirez has barely played.

Lee has been awful.

Johnson and DeRosa have done nothing.

 

It's not exactly the entire team, but it is the most important hitters.
