What I hate about these Cardinals is that they aren't overperforming in any easy to measure way. They aren't BABIP all-stars, they aren't winning every one-run game or outperforming their run differential.

 

Their pitchers are just mysteriously throwing strikes and avoiding home runs at solid rates.
