This is a pretty average lineup without A-Ram and Soriano still in a semi-funk.

And when DLee and Kosuke are slumping.

I'm pretty sure what sori is going thru is more than a "semi-funk"

Yea, it's pretty massive at this point.

I figure he'll bust out in a big way at some point, I'm just really starting to wonder when.

This is most definitely the most irritating game I've seen this year. Knowing that Hill was sent down, Marshall is in the pen, Marquis is starting, Theriot is starting, Cedeno is on the bench...EVERYTHING! Everything I knew has just come to a head this game.

They'll be like 3-7 in their last 10 games so yeah, I guess you're right, they'd do worse than 3rd place if they continued on that pace.

Thanks for correcting me.

well if thats the way you meant it what a whiny and obnoxious thing to say

we'll win the division by at least 5 games and the sniveling complainers such as yourself will bitch about every bad thing that happens on the way

Adam Kennedy.. give me a break. The Cards can come back to earth anytime now.

This your first year following baseball. They do this all the time. Check out the 2006 World Series DVD starring Jeff Weaver.

DeRosa at 3rd is bleh. If he could have made that play earlier this wouldn't have been a problem, and on the replay he could have possibly done something with Pujols' "double"

I agree. I think Aramis would've gotten both of those balls. At least knocked them down.

Hahahhahaha "Kennedy delivers in the clutch"

Yeah great job to make pathetic contact

I hate annoucners

Morgan: Kennedy has that upper cut in his swing and he lifted that ball over the infielder's head.

Brilliant.

Nice route to that one Alfonso.

I don't think a good route or a healthy Soriano was getting that one.

It wasn't getting the out. It was missing the ball completely.

Haha yeah I know, He is in our minor league system. If he was with the Cards. He would be about 4-1 with a Sub 3 ERA right now.

You have to be kidding me... how does Soriano get blamed for that?

he's one of the whipping boys right now, so he gets blamed for everything.

We probably will. But what should be an 80% chance is becoming a 70% chance because of general stupidity, and if we happen to see this season fall into that last 10%, people like yourself will say it was inevitable or something.

You didn't get the memo that it's cool to bash Soriano for everything humanly possible?

He couldn't have caught it, but I would just like to see him get to the point where he is chasing after the ball and not looking like a drunk softball player.

cedeno would've turned both into triple plays.
