It's not always a bad thing to do...especially if you're a guy who is known for having patient ABs and taking lots of pitches. As long as his overall approach is what it is, I have no problem with it. You have to change it up sometimes or they're just gonna pump strike one past you every AB.

This is really sad, as we should have won this game. We gifted them a run in the first when Hill couldn't have found the plate to save his stupid ass, and we gave them 6 outs in the 7th.

 

We still might win, but it's just frustrating just giving the opposition runs. It's one thing if they just outplay you, but another thing entirely if you just let them beat you.
