Felix won't get the start. Reed Johnson will. Here's why:

I bet it will be the usual lineup lately against left-handers:

Johnson

Theriot

Lee

Ramirez

Fukudome

DeRosa

Soto

Cedeno

That's just a guess, but I doubt Lou changes much right now unless one of those players needs a day off.

They'll lose, because they suck as proven today. So what if they squeezed out a few close wins the past few weeks. They got lucky, and obviously they're luck has ran out.

I kid, I kid.

Seriously though, beat the damn Natspos.

Seriously.

Cubs: 11 road games in April.

Me: In attendance for 8 of them 8-)

I work 12-hr shifts before each of the two night games coming up and will have to race to the park right after, and I took Sunday off to see the daytime game. I'm leaving now and won't be home until the series is over. This should be a good team to get back on track against. See you guys Sunday.

Hope the result is more like your time in Pittsburgh rather than your time in Philly.

Dear Lou, Please refrain from even thinking about putting Theriot or Fontenot in Friday's baseball game. Ronny Cedeno and Mark DeRosa can handle the middle infield duties capably, and Reed Johnson is ready for the call in left.

Theriot is white hot right now. Can we at least curb the hate until he cools down?

I don't think it's hate to say Cedeno/DeRosa/Johnson is better than Theriot/Fontenot/DeRosa. It's just the facts.

Odalis is a lefty (Actually all 3 Nats weekend starters are LH), so Fontenot will not start. I think people are arguing Pie over Theriot, which will not happen with a LHP on the mound.

If Theriot is the hot hand, he should play until he's not hot anymore. Whatever gives us the best chance of winning.

But Cedeno is just as hot. I think it would be awesome to go:

Johnson (only cause it's a lefty and apparently he's done well against him)

Fukudome

Lee

Ramirez

Soto

DeRosa

Murton

Cedeno

It won't happen, but that's what I'd like to see.

It isn't hard to predict that both Pie and Fontenot will be sitting on the bench for most of this series. It will probably be DeRosa-Johnson-Fuku across the outfield with Ramirez-Theriot-Cedeno-DLee in the infield.

The Cubs go back to their winning ways tomorrow. Dempster pitches 8 shutout innings and Kerry Wood pitches a perfect ninth for the save. Derrek Lee hits two HRs. Cubs win 6-0
