It's so Angelo to not pick a QB just because everyone wants him to. It's almost as if hes doing in in order to make a point

Matt Flynn is still there. :D

And the Packers snatch him up.

I doubt the Packers keep both Flynn and Brohm on the regular season roster. One will likely be exposed to waivers before the season begins.

Why? We had ONE quarterback on the roster (Rodgers) before the draft.

Latest Bears guy from rivals. Ervin Baldwin.

The good: He is a stocky, mobile lineman who played end and tackle, and performed well at each position. He plays with good leverage, comes off the ball quickly and uses his strong frame to gain penetration into the backfield. He is a strong outside pass rusher who wins on speed and power.

The bad: Lacks ideal size for end. He needs to develop further hand use, and must add more pass-rushing moves.

Outlook: He is one of the most underrated prospects in this draft class. He will be drafted on upside and because of his versatility. He’s a top-175 player.

I just think they're going to try to bring someone in with experience to pair with Rodgers and one of the rookies. If your QB situation is Rodgers and only Flynn or Brohm who will be learning on the job, you're in a tenuous situation at best.

Agreed. We had Daunte Culpepper in Green Bay for a visit this past week. I wouldn't be surprised if we signed him soon. But if we don't sign him, that's where the Flynn pick makes sense.

Another lineman, huh? The Dolphins have had seven picks. Three are offensive linemen...two are defensive linemen.

Big Bill believes games are won and lost in the trenches.

For the most part, it's true. But...I'm not keen on going into the season with Derek Hagan as the #2 wideout. Seriously, no recievers of DBs through seven picks?

If Pacman gets re-instated and the 2 CB's the Cowboys drafted look good in camp, I could see a training camp deal where the Cowboys send Henry to the Fhins.

Lord knows the Cowboys love to trade with the Dolphins. Assuming the cost is reasonable, I wouldn't be against that move. Health permitting, I could see the dolphins get back into the top half of the NFL in defense easily this season with another quality DB.

What the hell? The Dolphins drafted another RB? What the hell? WHAT THE HELL?

I think you could see a few more trades. The Dolphins front office is all ex-Cowboy people. They are familiar with the Cowboys players and Parcells loves to bring in people who are familiar with his system. I wouldn't be surprised to see the two teams deal at least one more time before the end of camp.

I think we would have sent Carpenter except his contract makes him a bit harder to trade.

Even more perplexing about the picking of two 6th round backs:

Lex Hilliard: 5'11", 228

Jalen Parmale: 6'0" 222

Ricky Williams: 5'10", 226

Ronnie Brown: 6'0", 232

Boomer Grigsby: 5'11", 249

Regan Mauia: 6'0", 270

They traded their only small (and by "small" I mean "normal sized") back! What?

Adams.

http://warroom.sportingnews.com/nfl/draft/2008/players/7898.html

snip...

Bottom line: Adams drives coaches and NFL scouts crazy. He shows good natural athleticism and strength but gets beat way too often by lesser foes. NFL teams should be wary of falling in love with the athleticism he'll surely show in pre-draft workouts. Adams is worth late-round consideration, because he could become a solid starter if the light ever goes on. However, that's unlikely.

Let the lights turn on please.

Eagles have got to be very pleased with King Dunlap in the late 7th.

I'm really surprised Peyton Hillis took as long to get picked, but Denver is a great match for him and his skill set. I want to hit some denver boards and see what they're saying.

Hmmm....

Tom Brady, 6th round pick out of Michigan

Mike Hart, 6th rounf pick out of Michigan

I think it's obvious what's going to happen.
