i don't like john david booty. besides the fact that he has a slow release and virtually no ability to avoid a rush, his name sounds like he should be in jail or something.

 

i'd take brennan or woodson.

 

I could live with Woodson based on upside (even though he throws off his back foot all the time), but I think Brennan was a product of the system he played in rather than his own skills.

 

I agree that Booty is no threat to run, but he has pocket presence and can in fact move his feet. Plus he is accurate, something the Bears really need.

 

All of that said, I'd rather have the Johnson kid from SD.

Correct. Maybe more now that they dealt the 4th rnder to TB, but i would guess they simply switched spots with them and got a 5th rnder next season.

Brennan and Woodson are horrible. Don't like either. Brennan is a smaller, lesser talented Rex Grossman. Woodson is a faster, lesser talented version of Byron Leftwich.....the one now, not the one drafted a few years ago before the major surgeries.

 

i wouldn't compare woodson to leftwich at all. i don't know who i'd compare him to, but he threw for a lot of yards and touchdowns in the sec.
