There went Slaton to the Texans.

Too high in my opinion. He has nothing but speed.

If they can get him the ball in space, he may work out. At this stage, teams are always willing to take a risk for speed.

Zbikowski S Notre Dame goes to the ravens.

I'm quite disappointed. I was hoping that the Cowboys would get him.

We need a WR...badly. Though that wouldn't have been a bad pick.

No WR that we take right now is going to be able to contribute from day 1. My money right now is on the Cowboys taking Will Franklin in the 1st pick in the 4th round.

Yea, it's not necessarily a bad pick. I just don't see any real upside to him, except that he's fast. Very one-dimensional.

espn's draft cast is hiliarious. people are asking some [expletive] questions like, "do you think the cowboys will trade for mcfadden?" or " are the bears going trade for chad johnson or mendenhall" Edited by Handlebar McSkullet

It depends on if they want to risk it with Manningham.

Harrison works. The Bears have now filled their top 4 needs, IMO. One more lineman a QB and call it a day. I'd love to see the Bears maneuver in the 4th and get another pick for possibly a 4th next year and one or 2 of their 7s. Some good Gs and QBs on the board, they won't be able to get both in the 4th and 5th.

I've heard that the Cowboys flagged Manningham and took him off their board completely. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I think the only 2 WRs left that we brought in for visits are Will Franklin and Keenan Burton.

Harrison:

Strengths: Possesses good height and has added considerable bulk to his frame. Displays good initial burst and straight-line speed. Is quick and mobile. At his best when on the move. Shows the burst to get through the line of scrimmage and can be very disruptive versus the run. Displays impressive change-of-directions skills and will make more plays in pursuit than most defensive tackles. Plays with adequate leverage. Displays some initial power at the point of attack and will give a good effort when taking on blocks. Does an excellent job of reading screens. Takes good angles in pursuit and is a very sound open-field tackler for his position. Flashes upside as a pass rusher.

Weaknesses: Lacks ideal lower body strength. Is not a good fit for a two-gap system. Struggles to take shed blocks at times and does not show the base to anchor in a phone booth. Despite great quickness and mobility for his position, his sack production has never been good. He needs to be more consistent anticipating the snap. Also must improve his array of pass rush moves. Durability and character issues are major concerns.

It's unfortunate they can't trade any of the extra 7th rounders to move up. Maybe they could pull off a deal where they get somebody to pick for them and they do the same later, then make the trade after the draft.
