Kiper has us taking Jonathan Stewart while Mendenhall is still on the board.

I will disembowel myself on live television if this happens. What a horrible idea.

ESPN has a poll of what conference has the most talent in this draft. The SEC has 43% followed by the B10 at 23% and then the Big 12, ACC are around 10%. Just doing a quick look at Scout.com top 30 i have 6 SEC, 6 B10 and 6 ACC. Ill be interested to see how things shake out but....the overhype continues.

I'm putting on my bitter Notre Dame fan face and whining about why everyone seems to want Matt Ryan but Brady Quinn was left to dangle until pick 22. How many interceptions did Ryan have to throw before people fell out of love with him, anyway?

I don't know what the infatuation with Ryan is. It must be his strong arm, but he's not very accurate.

Many a team has seen a busted pick when drafting based on flashy skills like Ryan has.

My dream situation would be for the Cowboys to trade #22 to Detroit for Roy Williams and then take the best available CB at #28, but I don't think it'll happen.

Everything I'm hearing is the Cowboys will go offense with both first rounders and take the best available CB in the second. But, they would be willing to trade pick #28 to a team wanting to get back in the first if they could pick up more picks in the second round.

They also like Cason and think they might move up in the second to get him.

I'd rather trade the #28 pick for Roy and draft Felix Jones with the #22. The Legend belongs back in Texas regardless :-).

I'm sort of sad, because this is the first draft in probably 15 years that I'm not able to watch on live TV.

From what I've heard, Wade doesn't want to take a WR in the first round because they take so long to develop to the point that they can contribute. Pacman could change that but I guess we'll just wait to see.

Another interesting tidbit from ESPN...

The word is Oakland will likely take Arkansas running back Darren McFadden at No. 4 if Virginia defensive end Chris Long is taken by St. Louis with the second pick. However, if the Ravens move up to No. 2 and take Boston College quarterback Matt Ryan, Long will suddenly come in play for Oakland, giving the team a tough decision to make. Long, of course, is the son of Raiders hall of famer Howie Long. Al Davis loves his former players. But Davis loves speed, too, and that's where McFadden comes into play. Should Long slip, this is going to be a fun pick to watch,

So, should I watch ESPN's draft coverage or the NFL Network's draft coverage?

Both

Prime Time is interview Jake Long while ESPN is on commercial.

I'm going to leave it on NFL network, but someone alert me to ESPN if I need to switch over.
