Nah, he didn't really say it like that, I got the impression he meant they have 2 chances. Obviously, he knows thats not true, but I think he phrased what he was trying to say wrong.

He said something like since he didn't go to college, this is his Elite 8. 3 games to win it all. Interesting and probably smart way of looking at it. I don't think they can do it though. Boston will likely close it out tomorrow.

Tomorrow is the key game for Boston. I didn't think, despite the Game 4 comeback win and early comeback in Game 5, that they were going to win last night. Sure, they had a chance, but I figured LA would find a way to pick up the win. So that brings us to Game 6. If Boston doesn't win this one, not only do you give the Lakers confidence after winning two straight including one in Boston, but you're in a Game 7 and all bets are off at that point.

 

And while I don't really think the Lakers are going to win tomorrow, it would be fitting for a Lakers-Celtics series to have the drama of a team coming from 3-1 down to force a Game 7.

If there is one city out there that I think deserves a major professional sports championship, Boston immediately comes to mind.

 

If it wasn't for the Patriots choking, they'd own 3 of the 4 current American sports championships.
