I seriously don't understand how Lou can think Theriot is better for the #2 spot than Derosa, Fukudome, Soto, anyone else on the roster.

 

He's speedy and gritty and that's what you need most in the 2 spot. It doesn't matter if you only get on base at a .330 clip.

 

I really doubt Theriot ends up with that high of a OBP.

 

He was at .326 last year. I was just going by that.

Hill plunked the batter and he tried to move his legs out of the way. He ended up jumping into a handstand on home plate. It was interesting to say the least.
