Chill out guys. A 2 run lead is not impossible to overcome. Especially with this offense.

How long before Fukudome starts wondering what the hell he got himself into?

 

I'm sure he's too sensible to despair after four games.

 

Plus, he's probably too busy enjoying the money.

Let's see how sensible he is when it's 40 games in and nothing has changed. This offense looks an awful lot like the pathetic one we saw last year. He seems as though he may be a bit of a competitor, which leads me to believe he'll get frustrated very quickly with this bunch.

i don't think he could have. why dive for it, let it get by you, and then give up 2 more runs?

i don't think he could have. why dive for it, let it get by you, and then give up 2 more runs?

 

IMO it looked like he misread the ball off the bat. If he would have charged it he probably could have caught it on the run and made a strong throw back to the IF.
