I'm gonna miss the first inning or two of this one thanks to stupid class that runs till 1:50. Then I'll be back to listen to Pat and Ron.....I wish my dorm got CSN.

Theriot + Soriano 0-10, no walks & 4 k's. Brian Roberts 2 hits & 2 walks...on base 4 times. Our inabililty to land Roberts early in the offseason when we had a chance will haunt the Cubs all year. At this point our best leadoff option is fuko who led the spring in walks. Who bats second is anyone's guess but Soriano should be in the 5-hole.

Yeah because we know that Brian Roberts would have gotten two hits and two walks against Ben Sheets yesterday. Your logic is utterly ridiculous.

He's still going on about this!? HAHAHAHAHA

of course he is! He's been "vindicated" by Theriot and Soriano's anemic performances Monday.

yeah...i am still going on about this. What's your point? It is really obvious this is a missing link in the offense. The top two positions in our lineup are dreadful in terms of plate discipline/getting on base. Fuko will be there at some point & Soriano will drop to 5th.

My point is freaking everyone and their grandma knows how you feel about the situation. Seriously. So now its at the point where its just kind of humorous.

Pointing out that Riot is the hole in our lineup is like saying the sky is blue, you're not accomplishing anything.

Is there any way to watch CSN online? Perhaps through that sopcast or something of that nature...I would go to the bar to watch it but I'm broke.

Poor you Roast. Because it's an April home series, I am not going to be able to watch one minute of the games Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Monday. Our first night game of the season isn't until next Wednesday.

Ever since I graduated college and started a job, I've been in favor of more night games at Wrigley.

Funny how that happens, eh?

Because of weekend travel (for work), and day games, I won't be able to watch the Cubs play on TV until that Wednesday night game. I would have appreciated a night game in the first week.

True, I need to break down and get a DVR.

I really hate watching sports that aren't live though, especially when I already know the outcome (which I most certainly would with any Cub game).

DVR's, people, DVR's

Can't do it....I work in an office with a large number of Cubs fans. Last year I tried blocking out the games a couple of times, and every time it was ruined by someone screaming "ARAMIS HOME RUN!!!" or something like that. There is no way I'd be able to keep the outcome of the game a secret in my office.

I'm gonna have to leave for work in middle of this one. Not amused.

Win please. Last place sucks.

We're actually tied for 2nd place, since the Astros lost last night.

You don't have to watch the game to know whats going on. Gamecast or a radio feed will do.

They're not, their following the games on Sportsline or MLB.com. The point is, if I DVR the game, I am going to want to watch it without knowing the final outcome. It's impossible to do so at my office.

I would guess radio or gamecast.

I've tried ignoring the games midday and watching it for the first time when getting home. It doesn't work. The only time it has is when I've had a softball game and could easily avoid it. But even then I check my phone for updates. I still don't know how my wife puts up with me checking 100 times a night when out to dinner.

Yeah, I'm increasingly in favor of night games as well. That said - i still love day games and it's not entirely impossible for me to watch them yet.

clearly, the best course of action is to blow the whistle on all your co-workers and get them fired for following baseball on company time. makes sense to me

Night games in early April can be tough.
