The Pats are my NFL equivalent of the Yanks. I like watching them in the playoffs so I can root against them. So I'm fine with them losing either this week or next. As long as they don't win the Superbowl.

7-0 Jags! That Garrard has got some skills. I'd love to have a QB like him on my team.

Damn refs for not tackling Grant, they are so in favor of the Pack its obvious.

To be clear, I never did say that the refs were the cause for the seahawks to lose. I merely stated the obvious point that the refs were favoring the home team. That point is irrefutable. Just as irrefutable as the Seahawks could not stop the run.

This game is pretty much in New England's hands. The Jags offense may be able to score more, but their defense can't stop anything. Sure they have been able to prevent long plays, but they haven't stopped anything else. Maroney has 111 yds on 15 rushes. Thats 7.4 yds per rush.

The 2 teams I want in the Superbowl both won today. If the Cowboys lose tomorrow this will be a great weekend in football.

I can't believe we might be looking at the Patriots, Colts, Cowboys, and Packers as the last four. I want some new teams not teams that were either historically very good or that have been dominant for a few years

So...which teams would you like to see that fit that criteria?

What you said. And what a comeback performance by Ryan Grant.

Go Giants!

The negative: The Patriots won.

The positive: I'm now 6-0 on my picks in the playoffs.

Chargers are the sole upset this week.
The words "Chargers" and "upset" will be used in the same sentence only in the context of the Chargers being upset with themselves for getting beat so bad by the Colts.

I'm not sure how much of it has to do with me being a Colts fan, but that was hilarious.

Well at least now I can stop hearing about how the Jags have a solid chance to win.

It was disturbing. There was never a solid path to victory for the Jags, in Foxboro, against the greatest team the NFL has seen in a long time.

Who is that Marcellus guy on ESPN? He was all over the place last week, "Jags have a great chance to win this game!" No, they didn't. It was starting to annoy me after awhile. They had *small* chance, not a solid chance. The kind of small chance that requires the favorite to play a terrible game to open the door for you.

Man, F the freaking Patriots. I hate those bastards.

might not want to watch the afc championship or the super bowl then. you won't like the results.

I don't get the Patriots hate. I love watching them. I make sure I catch all their games.

Their offense is pretty much unstoppable. The O-line is great, no one has been able to get consistent pressure on Brady. They run great screen plays so frequent blitzing isn't the answer and will likely get you killed. If other teams take away the deep ball, they will dink and dunk you to death. Moroney is rounding into form. I really don't see, from a defensive standpoint, how you can slow them down. You'd have to get consistent pressure from the d-line and to be honest, I don't think there is a team capable of doing that. Maybe if they put the ball on the ground a bunch of times.

And let's be serious, cowboy suit goat holding pictures aside, that was among the best quarterbacking performances I have ever seen. How can you stop a team when the quarterback basically completes every pass? He had two incompletions. One was an outright drop and the other, was catchable (would have been a tough one, though).

Really entertaining game.

It was tied at halftime and within 1 score nearly the entire game. The Jaguars obviously had a solid chance to win. Deep down I knew the Patriots would probably win, but its not like the Jaguars were terribly outmatched

I don't get the Patriots hate....other stuff

Cheating, running up the score, a-hole coach that brushes off opposing coaches and fines players for attending their grandfather's funeral, dirty players that reach in someone's helmet and try to gouge their eyes (Giants game), a-hole players like Harrison and Bruschi that constantly take cheap shots, crybaby Moss, the media talking them off, and yes, a QB that takes beastiality pics and then tries to play the role of one of the "bad boys" of the NFL.

Those are probably the main reasons.
