They have different covers for each system. Matt Ryan is on PS3, Owen Schmitt (?) is on PSP, DeSean Jackson is on PS2 and for some unknown reason, NCAA is celebrating its debut on the Wii by having Sparty the mascot on the cover.

I'll probably hold off on a PS3 until Madden comes out. So that means I'm relegated to having DeSean Jackson on the cover of my game. Awesome ](*,) (although Matt Ryan isn't much better).

Not to get off subject (okay yes to get off subject) but I read story the other day that Sony has lost over a billion on the PS3 and unless things turnaround soon are thinking of becoming solely a game designer and not coming out with anymore consoles.

They're the ones that charged over $600 for a new console, so it's not like that's shattering news or anything.

 

I don't know the latest about price cuts (I assume they'll probably go down to $350 eventually), but I don't want to wait another year or so to get a next-gen system. Almost all of my friends that have 360's have had problems with them, so I don't really want to invest $350 in a system that could be faulty. I'm not a diehard Sony supporter by any stretch, but I plan on learning from my friends' mistakes.

Speaking of Sony, has anyone else heard that the next GTA is likely to be a PS3 exclusive? Apparently a lot of compromises had to be made with GTA:IV due to the fact that the 360's dual-layer DVD discs just couldn't hold as much data as a Blu-Ray disc.

Best mascot in college football. And this is coming from a hardcore Tennessee fan.

 

Colorado's buffalo, Texas' bull, Otto the orange and, obviously, Smokey are also favorites of mine - but Uga is simply awesome.

 

Zippy of Akron won the mascot battle last year and is the first undefeated champ but I regress because he isn't the best

 

I'm biased and like Purdue Pete because no one is even remotely like him. IU is the worst they don't ever use theirs to my knowledge. All it is is a guy in a suit as a regular white dude with red hair and a IU cowboy hat on. As my dad says their is no such thing as an Indiana cowboy.

 

Eh, Purdue Pete is okay. . . he's just not that cool.

The question is, if that happened what would become of the Playstation-only games out there? Would they simply sign new contracts with Nintendo and Microsoft or would Sony continue making PS3 games even after the (potential) XBox 3 and Wii 2 came out?

I missed 10, but I also didn't realize until there were about 2 minutes left that it wasn't just football.

 

Therefore, I missed half the Big East. I hate them even more now.

 

My misses were: Big East - DePaul, Rutgers, Marquette, Providence, Cincinatti

Big XII - Oklahoma State, Kansas State

Big Ten - Penn State (I know, I'm an idiot)

ACC - Maryland, NC State
