Watching Jon Kitna whine like a school girl was great.

Almost as great as watching Romo act like a little bitch when things weren't going great.

I preferred watching him throw for the game winning touchdown.

I didn't know you were a Cowboys fan.

I hate the Cowboys, but as long as they keep the Packers out of the Super Bowl, I'm a-ok with them.

as if it matters what team from the nfc makes the super bowl...barring a complete collapse by either the pats or colts, they (the nfc team) doesn't stand a chance.

I think the Cowboys could beat the Colts, but I get your point. The fact of the matter is though between the White Sox and Cards recently winning the World Series, and Illinois/Kansas getting BCS bids over Mizzou, I can't handle any more bragging at the hands of my teams, haha.

So Dallas is 12-1. Except the 1 is a butt kicking from the team that is 13-0

Anyway as I have mentioned before I really could care less about the NFL. If I didnt play fantasy fb, I probably would know next to nothing about the NFL. I find it boring and over hyped. Anyway, today my internet was out most of the day, It was icing outside. My rec league BB game got cancelled. Most of my kids were somewhere else. So I actually sat down and was going to watch some NFL. Only to find out that the 2 games I had on were Oakland/Green Bay and St Louis/Cinncinati. Its no wonder I find this league so boring. Everytime I switched back neither game got switched to a better game until they were over. So basically I fell asleep and missed most of the the Steelers and Pats.

The Cowboys could beat the Colts, I agree. I also think they could beat the Pats. Both are better teams than the Cowboys, but that isn't everything in one game.

Yeah, I don't like the NFL that much either. It's lagged in a distant third behind college football and baseball for some time for me and it's in danger of getting passed by college basketball too. Maybe I'd feel differently if my team wasn't completely inept.

At least we'll have a chance, while the Eagles and McNab get to stay home and eat Chunky soup.

i'd rather the eagles get a good draft pick than watch them get bent over in the super bowl

Like that draft pick will help when Kolb becomes your starting QB next season.

didn't know you were such an expert talent evaluator when it comes to Conference USA quarterbacks. vance nicholson, jack of all trades.

Well, I just think it's quite pathetic that you'd rather your team lose than have a chance to win it all. Of course, I guess that happens when your team has never won anything.

If your team was eliminated, wouldn't you want your team to suck more to get a better draft pick?

nobody is going to beat the patriots this year; nobody has a chance to win it all... if there's a year we're going to suck, this is a good year to do it

That's not what he said. He said he'd rather his team get a good draft pick than lose in the Super Bowl. Even if my team lost, I'd rather see my team in the Super Bowl each and every year.

My bad. Yes, you are correct. Too bad the Browns aren't stinking it up for you guys. I mean, I'm happy about it, but its a case of "oh, what could have been" had they sucked as was expected.

True. But we'll still have 2 first rounders with not a lot of holes and with the exception of receiver, a fairly young team. So, while I hoped the Browns would completely suck, it still looks like their pick will be in 22-24 range and last season we gave up the 22nd to make the deal, so it's ok by me.

That's not true. Pats are definitely capable of losing in the playoffs -- starting with their first game. I don't think they'll go 19-0.

there was no way the eagles had a talented enough team to make the super bowl ahead of the cowboys or packers this year. that's why i started rooting for the eagles to tank about 6 weeks ago.

There are a lot of Patriots fans speculating as well that the Patriots will trade down with the pick that they get from San Fran and the most likely suitors for that pick would be the Cowboys trading their 2 first rounders for it.

I would be stunned if the Patriots don't trade down -- unless perhaps SF randomly wins out and ends up picking like 8th or 9th. Even then, I think the Pats would look to trade down.

they may trade down for salary reasons. however, if that SF picks ends up being #2 or #3 overall, the cowboys will definitely have to give up more than two low first-rounders to move up to grab a franchise-caliber player (probably the most attractive player to the cowboys in that spot would be glenn dorsey).
