For as much as potential scenarios get obsessed over, no one on TV seems to recognize that the Texas-aTm game has no impact on the Big 12 South. No matter what Texas does, they go to the B12 Championship game if Oklahoma loses, and they don't if Oklahoma wins.

You sure? If UT and OU both win, they will be 6-2, and OU won the head to head. If they both lose, they'll both be 5-3, again with OU claiming the head to head. I'm pretty sure Texas has to win and OU has to lose.

In the second scenario, Oklahoma State would also be 5-3, and Texas has that 3 way tiebreaker.

EDIT: Turns out that I'm wrong. In that 3-way tie, all the tiebreakers tie down to the BCS standings. So I guess Texas does need to win, since they aren't going to pass OU in the BCS by losing to aTm.

That's not what the Big 12 site says:

Texas should win because of tiebreaker number 2 because they only lost 1 game against the division while Oklahoma and OK State both lost 2.

That's what I get for going over those in my head. So I was right after all, hooray I guess.

Please win, LSU. The last thing I want to see is OSU in the national title game.

Holy crap. What a ridiculously hard play by LSU on fourth and one.

EDIT: Les Miles might need to be admitted to a mental institution.

Odds have to be at least 50/50 that if LSU gets a TD here, Miles just goes for 2. I honestly wouldn't be surprised.

Things going LSU's way.

Flynn overthrows Doucet and it goes right to another WR who catches it for a huge gain.

this game is hilariously awesome....a bad throw that wound up a completion, to the wrong guy, gets them inside the 10.

Ole Piss might actually win a conference game this year! Kiss your pathetic bowl hopes goodbye, bulldogs! Come join us in the toilet bowl of the SEC!!

Hahahaha. This is getting hilarious.

The whistle clearly blew, but it was really short. Just blow the whistle.

Wait, so what happened on Flynn's TD run? I was on the phone and saw them run the second play - the one that went for the passing TD - but the TV was muted for the first one.

Nutt called timeout right before the snap, and the side judge was less than decisive in letting everyone know about it.

This game is destined to end on a missed extra point or something weird like that.

This is the first time I've seen Arkansas this year, and they frustrate the hell out of me. Call me old fashioned, but I prefer when my quarterback takes most of the snaps and throws the ball. I like my running back to stick to running, blocking, and catching.
