How is using his name offensive? He should not be ashamed of his name. I have a funny last name and I took a lot of crap for it, but I am still proud of my name.

 

And I did say that I can see that in his case, but it should not be a trend.

Fukudome seems to be Hendrys guy this offseason. Hendry targeted Soranio last offseason and got it done quickly expect the same with Fukudome.

I'm hoping Grady Sizemore. I'm guessing since Hendry is the most interested in him, he's probably more like Cesar Izturis.

I have read that Fukudome started as an infielder, but he could not field ground balls and moved to the OF - where he improved a lot defensively. Word is he has decent speed and a strong arm.
