Mike Bibby likely traded to Hawks.

I'm not sure if anybody really cares about this but it's not really surprising as there has been speculation about this for a while out here. It wouldn't surprise me if Ron Artest got dealt before the trade deadline as well.

Maybe the Lakers should offer up some shoes and a bunch of used basketballs. Or a little bit more than they gave up for Pau Gasol.

I'd rather have Derek Fisher.

Really? I would think Artest to you guys would make you very, very tough to beat out. Especially since Farmar is more than capable of running the team.

Oh. About that I don't know. I haven't seen Bibby at all this year. I don't know what he has left.

so do the Bulls have any interest in Greg Hibbert this draft? not too many 7'3" guys to choose from out there

I assume you mean Roy. And yes, if we can't get any of the freshman phenoms (which is unlikely anyway), I really hope we can find a way to get Hibbert.

oh, yeah, Roy. Greg Hibbard was a pitcher I think. oops

chris paul did?

Dream on. Deron is 8-1 in his career vs. Chris. The 1 was his rookie year when he was sitting on the bench.

Certainly career record is the best way to judge how good a player is.

Yeah I prefer stats you know we play the games to have better stats. Ask Karl Malone he scored more points than Jordan and rebounded more. He must be better. All Deron Williams does is win. He also has this part of his game that Chris Paul has yet to hear of, defense. Fool.

Yes, counting stats are also superior to rate stats.

career PER:

Deron Williams -- 16.5

Chris Paul -- 23.3

this season:

Deron Williams -- 20.6

Chris Paul -- 26.9

also, your whole karl malone/michael jordan argument is one of the most idiotic things i've ever read.

Eh..Paul's defense has greatly improved since being at Wake.

I would rather have the point guard who wins at a higher clip. You can have your stats.

Then why do you have Deron second behind Nash? There have been several other point guards who have higher winning percentages than he does in the NBA right now.

So according to per.

Chris Bosh, T.J. Ford, and Jose Calderon are all ahead of utah's best player. Yet Utah, playing in the much better west, has a much better record. Huh. Guess that per crap really isn't so fool proof.

Also Miami had, up until 4 days ago, 2 guys in the top 50. New Jersey 0. New Jersey only has 17 more wins. Seems like the whole per scale could use some work.

Basketball isn't tennis where it's one guy against another. It's a TEAM game. A great player does need other pieces around him to win.

If they have 3 before the other teams top that is 3/5 of said team on the court.

I am talking over a career, how many games did Ron's clippers teams win again?

LOL... You're reaching. So if Harper had never played for the Clippers, my "argument" would be valid?

Plus Harper probably played the two for the Cavs and Clippers, though I'm too young to remember and don't know of any way to look it up.

Did he win at Miami of Ohio? Did he really win at a high clip with the Cavs? He was on two great teams. Point to me Deron Williams' Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. Oh and Harper could be better than Williams anyways. Harper could play before he got hurt. Then he did a great job of reinventing himself.

If Ron's Clippers had MJ and Pippen, he'd have won a lot more there. And then all 3 could have gone to the Bulls for a three peat. And then bam, best PG ever. As it is, he's tied with BJ Armstrong/John Paxson for best of the 90s.
