Pats by 21+. I would put money on it.

I'll put a month of premium against that spread. No way the Pats win by that much, if they win at all.

You just pissed Belichick off. He is now telling his team to score 113 points this week, punctuated with Tom Brady purposely taking Delay of game penalties on 4th and goal from the 1 with 0:02 seconds left until he is backed up to his 1 yard line and then running 99 yards for the FU touchdown.

Colts, since the game is in Indy. If it were at New England the Patriots would win. The Colts are too good to lose to anybody at home.

Patriots by double digits. The Colts are a very very good team, better than last year's and perhaps any Colts team before them, but the Patriots are playing in a league of their own.

The last 3 times the Colts played the Patriots, they put up 40, 27, and 38 points up. This Patriots defense is no better than the one the Colts put up 27 and 38 up against last year.

Plus, the Colts in the past year have become really good at running the ball and throwing short passes, methodically moving down the field and controlling the clock. I'm not sure the Patriots will even get enough possessions to put 50 up.

This game could be a 14 point swing on both sides, but I have a really hard time seeing either team win by 21 points. Both defenses are good, but can they really stop either offense?

The Colts have the #1 pass defense in the league so they could stop Tom Brady, but it will probably be a shootout. Colts win 34-27.

edit: btw, the Pats have had a really easy schedule.

I think the Colts win it.

The Patriots are a very very very good team. But if you watch the games you notice things like Manning sitting out the entire 4th quarter and Tom Brady continuing to throw TD's well into the 4th quarter. I don't think the Patriots are nearly as good as their scores would indicate. I hope by some miracle the Colts are able to run the score up on them.

IIRC, the Colts have had their number in regular season lately. I don't think the Pats have won in the dome for a while. The Pats have never had a problem scoring against em', torching the Colts numerous times. Brady most likely throws 3 TD's, 2 to Moss. Colts still win by 4. Wayne, Harrison and Clark all catch a TD while Addai runs for 1. 31-27 Colts.

Just can't bet against the Colts in the regular season, especially at home, even against the Pats.

Tom Brady is mine

Bob, after you destroy Brady's knee and knock him out for this season and and next season, could you go over to Belichick and kick him in the throat for me?

Thanks

Sorgi, congrats on the three year extension. Here's to you having NEVER to earn a penny of it in the regular season. :D

Does anyone know how Marvin is doing?

He'll be playing, 100% sure.

And have alligator arms every time he is thrown to.

Pats in a yawner.

Alligator arms? When did Harrison ever become a reciever who has alligator arms? Certainly not against the Patriots. He has had his bad games against the Patriots, sure. But also he's had:

8 catches, 145 yards, 2 TD's last regular season

9 catches, 128 yards, 2 TD's in 2005

If Harrison plays, watch who Asante Samuel covers. Whoever he doesn't cover will have the better day, as Ellis Hobbes can't cover either Wayne or Harrison, unless Harrison is completely hobbled.
