I'm in Phoenix for work from tomorrow morning till Saturday afternoon...I have my evenings basically off...when in new cities I always try to take in new ballparks and I've never been to the BOB/Chase....

There are tickets available...should I go to one of these games after what they did to the Cubs?

Yes, if you can afford it finacially and the time is avaliable. The Chase or I remeber as the B.O.B is a great stadium, just wear the ear plugs when a homer is hit and the dome is not openned the fireworks are horrendous.

twenty of our staff member rented the pool one game and it was a blast

wear cubs stuff and act confused when the rockies take the field

I've always wondered what I would do if I went to a baseball game between two teams that I didn't care about.

In this case, I would probably go and just pretend that it's the world series.

It's still major league baseball. While it isn't Cubs baseball, it gives you more time to check out a different stadium, eat different foods, stand in more lines for beer, and not have to worry about whether you are missing part of the game or not.

I would definitely go.

I've never been to a major league postseason game before, so if I had a chance, hell yes I'd go. I'd root for the Rockies (it wouldn't be the first time I'd be rooting for the visiting team). If I'm in a town and there's a game on I'll usually go even if I'm not interested in either of the teams playing.

After what the Cubs did to themselves.

Definitely go for it.

The atmosphere at playoff baseball games is insane. Just root for the Rockies.

I happened to be in St. Louis the 2nd day of the season in 04 and went to a Cards/Brewers game. Me and my friends just tried to egg on the drunk people and our section got pretty crazy towards the end. At that point I remember thinking the Cubs were a lock to win the division, so I didn't mind pretending to cheer the Cardinals at certain points. How young and naive I was.

Unreal. There should be a new rule. If you can't sell out your own frakkin stadium in the mutha frakkin PLAYOFFS, you forfeit that game.

I had tix to the NLDS in 2004 in Atlanta....only the CUbs had to blow it there at the end. So we needed something to do that weekend anyways, so me and my girlfriend drove to Atlanta and saw the Bravos play the Assho's. There were LOTS of Cubs fans there looking confused.

Yeah I drink and make comments loud enough for people to hear about how terrible D-Backs fans are. Unfortunately they are as terrible as I say and thusly don't really care.

Who cares if they suck? We were 50-31 at home with our mediocre crowds, sellouts don't = wins, so criticizing the fact we can barely sell out is pointless.

Hey what's up mr. drawing bad conclusions...

I said nothing of the quality of the team or the team's home play. I merely pointed out something that you seem to already know which I happen to enjoy doing when I'm at a game I don't care about.
