I remember the Bears Super-bowl thread was pretty big pre-game. We had 2 weeks to fill that up.

On youtube if you search wgn+cubs there is a WGN radio montage about 11 clips down, it has coldplay at the beginning. I don't know if it's the one on the radio but it's entertaining

Also, all roster and injury news was discussed in the one thread rather than splitting it out like we have the last few days.

I believe the Super Bowl thread has something like 120 pages before it started. 40 pages pre-game for a baseball thread (what it should be at the least by game time) is quite impressive I think.

Indeed - far more Colts fan than DBacks fans here and we had 2 weeks for those posts.

 

Of course 50% of the posts in both threads pre-game were something of the ilk of "HURRY UP AND START THE GAME ALREADY." :)

Watching this game on TBS is going to be hard. Not only is there not a HD reception on my service for TBS, but the color man for the Cubs game just tried to argue that the Diamondbacks starting rotation is deeper than the Cubs in talent...right.
