Just got back from the game at GABP. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE. I'll post some of the pictures and videos here after I upload them.

The atmosphere after that double play and the ovation the Cubs got as they were walking into the dugout was surreal. I had every intention of staying until the Brewers game was over and celebrating in the stadium with the 90% of the crowd that was Cubs fans....but the d-bags in charge of things shut off the out-of-town scoreboard 5 minutes after the game ended.

WHAT A GAME! GO CUBS!!!

Yep, and I have to be in the S. burbs at 8:30 and I live on the IL/WI border.

I made my lady a delicious dinner, we polished off a bottle and a half of wine, and were having relations just as the Cubs clinched the division.

 

It's been a very, very good night.

 

And you've got your computer next to you posting this? Care to do some play-by-play analysis? :shock:

I actually saw a bottle of the Hendry Zinfandel today at the store - it was a little out of my price range, but when they make it to the next round...

Just back from GABP- great atmosphere. The noise was amazing every time the Padres scored and the out of town scoreboard was updated. Too bad they turned it off 2 minutes after game.

Tim, hows the bandwidth holding up?

Just fine. less than a 30% peak load on the memory. The adjustments I've made over the past few months have helped an awful lot.

 

Now I just have to find a way to increase revenues to pay for them. ;)
