They look complacent and impatient at the plate. I am by far not the only person to make this point. But yet I'm the bad guy.

But I digress......

I honest to God don't know how you can look complacent and impatient at the same time. But as I said previously in this thread, they've looked impatient all year, that's the type of offense they are. Piniella said it a week ago, that you're not going to change the type of team they are now, you want to change it, change it in the offseason, but don't be shocked that they're impatient in the losses, when they're impatient in the wins too.

I think they got homer-happy against Pitt, and figured today would just be a cakewalk and didn't even attempt to go up to the plate with any sort of plan.

That has to be it.

You seriously believe that?

Erik, I'm relatively new here and I don't know anything about you, but please tell me you're joking.

Moron swung through an easy ball 3.

Oh well, if the Cubs really want to win this thing, they have the right guys coming to the plate in the 9th, and Ill be surprised if its vs. Dontrelle, so I guess we'll just have to see what happens.

If the bullpen holds here, we have the hitters we need to see coming up in the ninth. Chances of a loss are probably holding firm around 90 percent, but a comeback would not be unlike this team.

Whoa!

Did you guys know Dontrelle used to be in the Cubs organzation?

These Marlins announcers are so insightful.

Wait. Whoa. When?

Are you serious man?

Now 2nd and 3rd for St. Lou. Problem is... it's Pujols at 3rd. Can you say boat anchor?

Cause you have to have any kind of speed at all to score from third on a hit.

I heard they beat us in the 2003 NLCS too. Something about a Bart man?

Do you see it in their eyes? Or can you read people's minds through the TV. You could be on Heroes!

I'm not even going to dignify this with a response.

Don't buy it. Completely unpossible.

But you can't score on a sac fly, which is what just happened.
