A pitcher who receives an average of 6 runs of support per game, yet has managed to still lose 15 times with his 1.6 WHIP has faced one over the mimimum thru four. Good effing job, jackasses.

Let's try this one on for size. The Cubs winning this game has a better chance of happening than the Cubs losing the division. Oddly, the insane reactions around here don't follow the stats.

god these guys look horrible tonight in every aspect of the game.

Complacency. 3 up w/ 6 to go. "We got this in the bag."

Let's see how they fight back tomorrow when its (most likely) 2 up w/ 5 to go.

Why are you even bothering with them? Let them wallow.

Hows the Marlins bullpen? Willis has to be throwing tons of pitches..So hopefully we can get to their pen

Willis is averaging 16 pitches per inning, which expands out to 114 in 9 innings.

1-2-3 go the Cardinals in the first

???? Pujols is still batting 2-2. I'm watching the game on Fox Sports Midwest. Unless for some reason youre abuot 1 minute ahead.

What's insane about it? You can feel how this game is going.

Might want to recheck your math there.

You and your "math". Leave me alone.

I guess I'm not as accurate doing math in my head as i like to think.

My bad, I misread the gameday. Sorry!!

He's on pace for 112 pitches through 7, though. Would be nice to chase him after 6. Gregg has certainly struggled a bit recently.

Well I just got here...and I see the Cubs are down 4-0. Of course, reading this thread you'd think they were down 10-0.

Might as well be the way they are hitting Willis

It feels that way.
