With the exception of Hermeda, the Marlins really aren't hitting Lilly that well. The Cubs offense has also shown this month that they can wake up and put up some real numbers. If the Cubs can pull to within 4-2 by the end of the sixth, this game is well within reach.

 

The wntire team is 7-13 tonight with a walk.

And they've hit a few doubles and the sac fly, but they've also had some bloop hits. You obviously can't take anything away from them, but 7-13 is also inflating how well they've performed.

The other thing that sucks about potentially losing is that it it makes it longer for us to clinch meaning that it messes up a potential playoff rotation. Ideally you'd want Z and Lilly to pitch twice in a 5 game series, but instead you might see Rich Hill and Jason Marquis do so
