Because the next 2 games are Marquis and Trachsel. Meanwhile the Brewers have Brad Thompson and Matt Cassel or something from a hobbled SD. We could easily be tied going into our last series

Amen! If we had lost some of the games the Brewers have lost in the last week we'd all be committed. But I still feel we're gonna blow it (my first Cub game was in 1970).

With the exception of Hermeda, the Marlins really aren't hitting Lilly that well. The Cubs offense has also shown this month that they can wake up and put up some real numbers. If the Cubs can pull to within 4-2 by the end of the sixth, this game is well within reach.
