I was at last night's Hawks-Wings game at the UC, really an awesome time all around. Great to see them come back from the 3-1 deficit in the 3rd to tie it up, an exciting OT and then Kane gets the goal to win it in the shootout. Definitely the loudest I have heard that building in probably 10 years, and overall I've been impressed with this team so far, we'll see how it goes.

I dont think Ottawa has been crying about Martin Havlat not being on their team. They actually made the Stanley Cup finals last year. He isnt a good team player and as mentioned does have his big baby moments

Its been along time since I have been that disgusted watching a hockey game, just a terrible effort. The Flyers actually scored shorthanded while down 2 men.

if it makes you feel any better, between the third period on Saturday vs. the Blues, and the first two periods tonight against Dallas, I was disgusted with the Kings.

 

Probably not though, since the Canucks aren't rebuilding.

 

on a side-note, the Senators are really good. I've watched 4 games of theirs this year, and they're controlling the flow. The funny thing is that I don't think they're playing up to their potential yet. Vermette/Kelly/Neil might be the best checking line in the league.

 

that's the second time i've watched vancouver this year and it's the second time i've seen them crap the bed. i watched the game against San Jose too, but even that was a better effort than tonight.

yes, it was rumored that he was offered the president position by the maple laffs, but both he and the organization denied it. I don't know that Scotty is interested in coming back into hockey as a president or GM, but I do know that he hasn't ruled it out.
