Toronto falls on their face late. up 2-0 going into the third, the game goes to OT at 4-4 and they give up the GWG with 3 seconds left in OT. McCabe swatted it into his own net.

Vancouver falls asleep in the third and loses 4-2 despite controlling almost all of the first two periods. Nabokov played a great game for the Sharks.

vancouver has now looked bad in 3/4 games i've watched them play. they'll get it going eventually...but it's not good up there right now. injuries don't help either. the good news is that naslund and morrison are clicking again, they need naslund especially to have a big bounceback year.

Ohlund and Bieksa need to pick it up, they are looking horrible out there. I can't wait until Salo comes back.

Next up is the Kings on Friday, any idea who is gonna be in goal for LA since Bernier was sent down today? Maybe Cloutier can make a triumphant return to Vancouver?

cloutier would be hilarious. we'd lose by 12 goals. with our awful defense the sedins would dominate.

i think it will be labarbera, but there's probably an equal chance that it's js aubin. labarbera has sat two straight games and he was the #1 coming into camp, so i doubt he sits again for a guy fresh off the IR like aubin. but we'll see. i've been wrong nearly every step of the way so far about how crawford will handle things.

Man, I can't believe I'm going to have to rely on the Blackhawks fighting for a playoff spot to quench my sports thirst for the next 6-7 months. Not the most reliable group to put your hopes on.

Playoffs or not, it should be a fun group to watch in terms of development.

That comeback against the Red Wings was great. I could kick myself for turning it off when the Hawks went down 0-2 early. I won't do that again.

The damn Stars game wasn't broadcast. The "home games not on TV" thing again. I'm really hoping Wirtz's kids get rid of that, it's pointless now.

i totally forgot the kings play today, btw. aubin is starting tonight, showing once again how poor i am at reading crawford's mind. i imagine this means that labarbera will get the start on friday unless aubin plays very well.

also, crawford is scratching nagy tonight...which is odd to say the least. hopefully this means o'sullivan and frolov will find a way onto the top two lines for a change.

The Habs just pulled a Canucks move. at least the Habs are going to get at least a point out of it. they outplayed the panthers for 58 minutes but gave up the game tier with 10 seconds left. tomas vokoun was exceptional in net.

Josef Stumpel scores in the third round of the shootout and the Panthers somehow manage to take 2 points out of this game.

hey hey the kings actually won a game and they beat the wild too!

Hey you can't win them all but to lose to the Kings. #-o

the kings will be competitive this year...but i'm surprised they won last night to say the least, given how they had played thus far.

brett burns took 5 penalties or something didn't he?

and i can finally really answer your question: LaBarbera will start on Friday.

Kind of funny that the Kings will have 2 games between Vancouver's game on Friday and their last game. Aubin is starting in Calgary on thursday.

New Jersey played a *gasp* offensively minded game! they won 5-4. Brodeur looked good despite giving up 4 goals.

First Hawks game I've seen this year. And they didn't look too good.

The Blackhawks can't score. For all the talk about the defense, and who was going to step up, the problem, just like the Cubs, is they can't score. Granted, it's got a lot to do with Havlat, but it's more about a general lack of talent from top to bottom. Stat wise, Lang, Toews, Kane and Seabrook are the only guys who have done anything this young season.

They rebounded, but early my Blues were skating circles around them.

Too many bad turnovers in transition; not strong enough on the puck. Our d pretty much dominated. Granted our D is excellent, but still.

That was awesome from Toews. And Kane picked up his first NHL goal, too. Fun to watch those two play.

Be nice to see them do more of the same in Toronto tonight.

That Toews goal was absolutely disgusting.

Lalime is more than likely going to be in goal tonight. As long as he plays as good as he did against Detroit last week, I feel good about beating the Leafs.

Hey hey! The Kings win! great second period. solid defensive effort after ohlund scored the second goal too.

Jonathan Toews's goal was sick.

The Canucks need to learn how to play 60 minutes. It was really frustrating watching their defensive play at times last night. Bieksa played horrible, and it would be nice if Luongo could make a big save once in awhile.

Btw love your sig, that goal was sick.
