Hey whiny Brewer fan,

How many games has Prince Fielder missed this year due to injuries? How about Ryan Braun? Sure doesn't hurt to have your best hitters not have to spend a month on the DL and, in Rammy's case, have a nagging injury that forces him to have periodic days off to keep him relatively healthy.

It also sure is unlucky for the Brewers to call up Ryan Braun in the last week of May only to see him hit 31 home runs in 3.5 months. Not a big deal. I mean, it's only a pace for 49 home runs on the year.

You also have a career year out of Prince Fielder.

J.J. Hardy had 25 home runs in 1253 PA's in his minor league career and he's got 25 in 592 PA's with the Brewers this year.

And boy are the Cubs lucky that Carlos Zambrano has put up his worst ERA in his six years as a starter this year.

And as for single game breaks? How about Rickie Weeks going Albert Pujols on Brad Lidge the other day? Yeah, I know Houston still won the game, but that thing shouldn't have gone into the tenth inning.

It's not the Cubs' fault that your team can't win a road series if their lives depended on it. The Brewers are 31-47 on the road this year which is tied with the Giants for 6th worst road record in the majors. All of the teams with road records as bad or worse than the Brewers are at least 13 games under .500 (Texas is the best at 70-83).

Your team blew an 8.5 game lead in a little over 5 weeks.

EDIT: And the Cubs sure got lucky that they were stupid enough to leave their best catcher in AAA until September. Lucky us.

Don't forget that Pujols is out for the rest of the season.

I have had enough of this BS. The Cubs have had a horseshoe up their you know what's for the past week and a half now. This is so unbelievably disgusting it's nauseating. Since Cubs fans will be reading this, I will recap for them just how they have gotten all the breaks lately.

Wednesday, September 12th @ Houston- Cubs lead 3-1 entering the 9th Astros get 1 back on a run scoring Triple by Mike Lamb with 0 out. With the score 3-2 and the tying run on 3rd, the Cubs get a lame groundout to the left side of the infield that doesn't score the run. A Walk to Palmiero puts runners on 1st and 3rd. Dempster then proceeds to get a ground ball that is bobbled but recovered in time to turn the game ending DP. If Munson beats the throw, the game is tied and the outcome could've been completely different. No, it was not just making good pitches from Dempster, it was a VERY fortuitous bounce that the bobble was recovered just in time to turn the DP. Cubs win 3-2.

Friday, September 14th @STL- StL trails 2-1 in the top of the 9th. Jason Isringhausen enters the game with the bases loaded and Daryl Ward PH. Isringhausen makes 1 mistake and Ward clears the bases with a Triple to put the Cubs up 5-1. Prior to this game Izzy had only allowed 2 ER in his last 10 appearances. Cardinals get two HR's in the bottom of the 9th that would've been the game winner(s). The Cards then proceed to load the bases with two outs trailing 5-3 and Aaron Miles in a key spot swings at the 1st pitch and grounds out to end the game. Thanks Aaron!! Cubs win 5-3.

Saturday, September 15th @ STL- 1st game of a DH. Braden Looper absolutely baffled the Cubs for 7 innings. Leaving the game having retired 17 straight. Cards up 2-1 going to the 8th. Ryan Franklin comes in for the Cards and Walks Cliff Floyd(after a VERY questionable pitch called for Ball 3). He goes 3-2 to Alfonso Soriano, and then serves up a 2 run homer. After being baffled all game long by Looper, they hit one pitch and win the game 3-2.

Wednesday September 19th vs. Cincy-maybe the turning point of the season. Reds Cubs tied 2-2 and the Reds have a Norris Hopper on 2nd and two out. Encarnacion hits a pretty soft single to Left and the Reds inexplicable send Hopper around to try to score. Soriano makes perhaps the easiest throw to home he'll ever make the rest of his career to get Hopper by 50 ft at home. Of course, the Cubs score next inning and win the game 3-2.

It's the Cubs year apparently because they aren't NEARLY as talented as the Brewers, yet they will probably win the division and go to the post season thanks in large part to a lot of fortuitous bounces the last couple of months.

Wow, thanks Mr Whiny Brewer Fan, thanks for taking the time to type all that out. I really enjoyed the post. Some nice memories of the Cubs capitalizing on situations as good teams usually do.

Lou just mentioned that Trachsel will be pitching this coming Thursday. What?!?!?

That was the one game the big 4 couldn't pitch for the rest of the year. Personally, I would have gone the risky route and picked Kevin Hart to start that game. Trachsel was decent, awful, and then a little lucky in his 3 starts with the Cubs, and Marshall has been awful his last couple starts as well.

Pitching in the big ballpark in Florida might help Trax out some.

That'll be a nerve-wrecking one, though, for sure.

Are you trying to do it in Premium? Because I tried it in Premium as well and it screwed the whole thing up just like it did with yours. I tried it in the regular UI and it worked just fine.

Hopefully it won't be at all. But I sort of don't think that will be the case. It could never be that easy with this group.

And the Brewers get the carcass of the World Champs early next week.

How far did Aramis' home run go in the first inning?

Never saw the measurement on it, but it definitely went over Waveland. It was an absolute bomb.

Official measurement was 430FT. It landed on Kenmore.

Watching the end of the game in a bar is fun. Especially when you see the start, go to class and miss the middle (bad) parts, and go to the bar in time to see the great ending.

ARam is god.

Marmol is ridiculous. Absolutely insane stuff.
